On 11/02/2025 I was struck by a vehicle while riding in a hit and run, subsequently shattering my clavicle, displacing it internally and also fracturing my elbow. I underwent reconstructive surgery on 11/11/25 reattaching my collarbone, having a titanium plate, 4 titanium screws, and a teflon cord installed to repair the damage. I have been out of work since the accident and I’m looking at missing 6-7 weeks of work. I have already fallen behind on my bills since I haven’t had any active income and was denied unemployment. I am currently waiting to here back from a nonprofit for a grant to pay my rent but I haven’t heard anything yet and I am in serious need to pay my bills as well as feed my self and my sweet baby cat Clove.
