Urgent Help Needed for Banzo's Recovery

On November 27th, one of my biggest nightmares came to fruition. My sweet 9 month old Italian Greyhound, Banzo, was playing on a rather tall bed and jumped off of it, only to completely break his right front radius/ulna. We rushed him to the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center for emergency care. I was able to stabilize his leg for the ride to the hospital, but it was an agonizing one. It was the longest 15 minutes of my life.

He will need surgery to repair the break - a plate and some screws to fix it in place and ensure it heals correctly. The cost of this procedure is anywhere from $6,000 to $9,000. I have never been one to ask for much of anything, but am welcoming any help. Even if it’s $1, $5 - every little bit helps.

This is the first time Banzo and I have spent any time apart and my heart breaks thinking about being away from him. He is the sweetest boy and deserves the best care possible.
