Urgent help needed for Bambi’s life saving treatment

Hello everyone, my name is Nic and I’m the proud dog mum to Bambi & Nala.

I know it’s Christmas and there’s so much going on in the world that needs our love, attention and funds but if you have ever had the pleasure of meeting Bambi or you’ve ever smiled at a picture or video of her and Nala, please read this.

Bambi is a much loved 10 year old golden retriever and therapy dog. She’s is more floof than brains but has a huge heart and always has so much love to give and she loves nothing more than a snuggle on the sofa with her cuddly toys. She’s is very often seen with her sister and best friend Nala by her side.

Bambi has been very unwell for a couple of weeks, with her symptoms getting worse to the point she did not eat for 10 days. She has been in and out of the vet daily where they have done multiple tests but nothing could be found.

She was rushed into emergency surgery earlier today which lasted 3 hours, and they found she had a piece of string wrapped around her intestines. The string has caused lacerations in eight places throughout the intestine, nearly severing it completely in one place. She has been in absolutely agony, but made it through the operation and the next 48 hours are crucial.

As you can imagine, the cost to ensure Bambi’s survival is in the thousands and I have now exceeded her insurance limit. I absolutely hate to ask for help but as everyone knows the two girls are my absolute world, and I would appreciate any help anyone can give. No matter how small. If you can’t donate, then please at least share.

My one wish this Christmas would be to have her home heading in the right direction of recovery, so thank you.
