Urgent Help Needed for Aaron He Needs a Kidney Transplant

Dear friends and community,

I am writing to you with a heavy heart to urgently ask for your help for my lifelong friend, Aaron Arcaya, a 49-year-old Peruvian whom I consider a brother. Aaron has been bravely battling kidney failure for the past 12 years. Unfortunately, his condition has worsened significantly, and he now urgently needs a kidney transplant to save his life.

In addition to kidney failure, Aaron suffers from a parathyroid hormone disorder, which has caused severe decalcification, leading to osteoarthritis in his hip. This condition forces him to spend much of his day in a wheelchair or relying on a cane to walk. Currently, Aaron undergoes hemodialysis treatment three times a week in Piura, Peru, with each session lasting approximately 4 hours.

After a long wait in his country with no favorable results and no support, it has been determined that he has a greater chance of finding a compatible donor in Barcelona, Spain, However, the costs of traveling from Perú to Spain, medical treatment, and the expenses associated with the transplant are overwhelming and beyond what he and his family can afford on their own.

This is why I am launching this campaign to raise funds and help Aaron cover these costs. His life depends on this transplant, and every contribution, big or small, can make a huge difference. Your generosity will not only give him a new chance at life but also relieve a tremendous burden on his family during this difficult time.
