We're urgently seeking support for Nazia, a 43-year-old mother of three from a remote village in Azad Kashmir, who is bravely fighting moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma of the lower gastrointestinal origin.
Nazia's family faces immense hardship. Her husband has a health condition that prevents him from working, and her brothers and father have very limited resources, making it impossible for them to cover her mounting medical expenses.
She has already undergone two complex operations and is currently undergoing chemotherapy managed by CMH Rawalpindi which needs vital follow-up and on and off hospital trips to help manage chemotherapy side effects. She is from a remote mountain village of Kashmir and had to relocate to Rawalpindi for treatment as repeated trips to Rawalpindi in her current health situation was not possible. Her kids were still in the village away from her which was affecting whole family , now they all live in a small hotel room in Rawalpindi. The entire cost of her ongoing treatment is self-funded, placing an unbearable financial burden on this humble family. Cost of day to day living is another huge financial burden given she does not have any source of income.
