Urgent Help Needed for a Severely Disabled Van Life man

Hello, my name is Iain & I’m seriously in need of Help, whether that’s funding or general advise on what I can do next.

Here’s a little bit about me & the situation I’m currently in at the moment, I have been living & working from my Van for the past 18 months after being made homeless through unfortunate circumstances out of my control, I have serious progressive arthritis which now is effecting my work, which I was a self/employed Stone Mason/Stone Restorer, but unfortunately I am now so unwell to carry on working as my fingers & knees are bent 90 degrees and I can only stand for minutes & only with the use of walking sticks.

I have been in touch with the DWP/Universal credit & I’m waiting on some form of payment on the 12th February & they’ve also referred me to the Councils Homeless Services (which I’m waiting on hearing from).

What I need is some funding to pay my bills as my Van Road tax has been cancelled, as has my Van insurance, I have around £3,00 left in my bank account & also have other bills like my contract phone bill etc…

I haven’t eaten in 2 days as I’m on a carpark and don’t want to risk driving with no road tax or insurance on my van, otherwise I’ll have nowhere to sleep & it also has most of my belongings in it.

If anyone would be kind enough to fund me some money or food etc… whilst I get myself out of this mess and into some secure accommodation etc…I would be eternally grateful and will pay it forward when I’m settled into the right facilities as I can’t carry on living in a van with such a severe progressive disability & unfortunately I’ve had to give my job up (which I really love & still have enquiries & clients waiting for work), but sadly I can’t carry on.

I don’t really like asking for anything, but unfortunately I have nowhere else to turn to or ask.

Any help at all even a £1.00 would be so much appreciated, just whilst I’m waiting to get disability housing & benefits, which can take a while.

The funds will go towards basic day to day living & keeping me mobile, that includes food, medication, vehicle expenses, mobile phone expenses & general living costs until am allocated some secure accommodation & disability allowance.
