I have worked in the Entertainment Industry for many years. Since the WGA, SAG strikes, Union negotiations, and studios taking their productions overseas, I have not worked since August of 2023. I am in my 70s and still looking to work because I have gone through all of my savings and have had to deplete my pension to keep financially going. I am being threatened with eviction, and my transmission needs to be replaced. I have no one to help me financially. I do not want to be homeless at my age. I have helped others in the past when I could afford to do it. I have investigated and called all of the government agencies in Los Angeles that are supposed to be able to help. They tell me so many people are in the same situation, and they have either run out of funds or do not have programs to assist the elderly to stay in the homes they have occupied for years. The only possible help they have is if you find yourself on the street, maybe they can find you someplace to live and possibly give you some financial help.

I beg and pray that there are people out there who will take pity on me and contribute to my GoFundMe. Bless all of you. I hope you never find yourself in the same situation.
