What is happening in Palestine is devastating. We have the opportunity to help a family (17 members) who after huge lengths have visas to travel to Australia to join other family members. All that is left now is to raise the funds for their flights.

This is their story through their Australian family:

"My family lives in the northern Gaza Strip, next to Al Awda Hospital, several meters away from the Indonesian Hospital, where they were bombed several times with fire belts. They were displaced from their home several times, and each time the bombing pursued them. My family’s entire neighbourhood was destroyed and the buildings were leveled to the ground.

My brothers’ homes were bombed and they remained displaced from one place to another until they arrived in the city of Rafah, where they are now staying in a tent in an Anwara school that does not protect them from the winter and the cold. They were drowned in rainwater, along with four children from 7 months to 6 years old, my mother and father in their sixties, my six brothers, my brother’s wife, and my sisters’ husbands.

They live without any of the necessities of life, without food, water, electricity, or communications, and the bombing does not stop above their heads.

Now they have obtained a visa to enter Australia, but they do not have any money to travel, as they lost all their possessions under the bombing.

We ask for your help in getting my family to Australia. Thank you for your support"
