Hi everyone,

I’m writing this on behalf of a close friend who is going through a really tough time with his beloved dog.

She isn’t just a pet, she’s his best friend and a huge part of his life.

Over the past 2–3 months, she has been unwell and in and out of the vet trying to find answers. At this stage, it’s suspected she has diabetes, but things aren’t straightforward and testing is still ongoing.

They have already started treatment, however she hasn’t responded the way they expected. This has raised concerns that there may be something more serious going on such as an underlying infection or even cancer. Because of this, further testing and scans are now needed.

So far, over $5000 has already been spent, and unfortunately it feels like this is only the beginning.

My friend is doing everything he can to give her the best chance, but the financial pressure is becoming overwhelming as the costs continue to rise with no clear answers yet.
