URGENT HELP "MIRACLE MAURICE": FIGHTING ICU RECOVERY

On behalf of my father,

On Memorial Weekend 2025 Maurice, a beloved day laborer, fell victim to a violent crime while on his way to a construction job. This fundraiser is in his honor. Maurice, a hardworking father, grandfather, uncle, brother, son, and friend, was shot five times during what should have been a routine for his independent business. Doctors didn’t expect him to survive the night, but Maurice’s resilience allowed him to pull through.(Truly a Miracle)

However, after several surgeries, anticipated long-term rehabilitation, and possibly an organ transplant, Maurice’s life will never be the same. Despite his fighting spirit, the road ahead will be long and challenging. As a man who has dedicated his life to working with his hands, repairing homes, restoring lives, and lifting others up, Maurice now needs our help. Construction and carpentry are demanding jobs, and Maurice won’t be able to return to his business for several years, if ever.
