Urgent: Help me save my belongings before Friday

Hi, my name is Arif and I’m fundraising to urgently save my personal belongings from being auctioned off this Friday. After graduating in July 2024, I moved to London to find work and was staying with friends while job hunting. Eventually, I was taken in by a family friend, but in February, unexpected legal issues involving someone else in the household led to bailiffs arriving. I stepped in to help using the last of my savings, which were meant to support me post-graduation, to settle most of the debt and prevent their home from being seized. I was promised repayment, but months have passed and I haven’t received anything back. As a result, I haven’t been able to afford my own bills, and my storage unit - where all my essentials and personal belongings are kept - is now overdue and scheduled to be auctioned. I’m genuinely out of options and any help, no matter how small, would mean the world right now.

I kept my things in storage thinking it would be temporary, that I’d be working soon and could afford to move everything over properly. I never imagined I’d still be stuck in this situation months later, especially not after stepping in to help protect someone else’s home from being seized. It’s been really tough to accept that helping in good faith has left me in such a vulnerable position, but here I am, doing everything I can to not lose the little I have left. Every contribution will go directly toward clearing the storage debt and securing my things before they’re lost for good.
