[ENDED] Help Me Get Gender Affirming Surgery
Donation protected
My name is Isabelle and I am a trans woman with cystic fibrosis, a rare genetic disease that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system. I have also been informed of another condition I have known as tracheomalacia. Because these rare conditions I suffer from are degenerative, my ability to get gender affirming surgeries in the future is compromised. I would like to have Vocal Feminization Surgery (VFS) and I am worried as I have little time before doing this procedure becomes impossible due to the progression of the diseases I suffer from.
Tracheomalacia causes the windpipe to collapse due to the breakdown of the trachea and this combined with my cystic fibrosis causes complications which will hinder the chance of surgery in the future. While it is safe for me to get it now, the window to get the surgery is rapidly closing.
These medical conditions severely jeopardize the window of opportunity I have to get the procedure done and I am asking for donations to help cover the costs. This is my only chance to get the surgery and I am scared that I will never have an opportunity like this again in the future.
The donations will cover the procedure, travel, care, and accommodation associated.
