This is Lilo… she is one of the bestest girls out there. When I got her at 5 months, she had suffered a very rough start in life; she was very mistreated. Nowadays, at 4 years old, you wouldn’t know from her demeanor. She is one of the sweetest, most friendly dogs you will meet. Unfortunately, she is needing TPLO surgery which is very expensive, over $4k per leg. The vet says one leg for sure right now and most likely the other as well, if not now, within the year because it is a degenerative disease. It’s just me and my fur babies at home, so financially it’s not something that is affordable. She has a kitten at home that I just adopted; they are best buddies, and I know she wants to be able to play with her. She’s only 4 years old, so I know she has a lot of life left still, and I don’t want her to be in pain. With her size and the state of the CCL tear, surgery is her only option.
