Urgent: Help Lara's family evacuate
Donation protected
My name is Jason and I reside in the United States. I made this campaign on behalf of Lara, here are her words:
Hello everyone! My name is Lara Al Shareef and I'm 20 years old. I'm from Gaza City, Palestine.
My family and I were displaced from Gaza City on October 13th, just a few days after the war started. Since then, our lives have radically changed for the worse.

I was in my second year of studying clinical nutrition, which was my lifelong dream. I hope to become a nutritionist after completing my studies. However, after enduring seven months of harsh war, losing my home, and having my university destroyed, it seems like my dream may never come true.
This year, my brother Basel was supposed to graduate in computer systems engineering, but his dreams have also been shattered by the conflict.
In the provided image, you can see the heartbreaking destruction of my home in AlFayrouz Towers, where my father spent 15 years paying installations. This place held our cherished memories, but now lies in ruins. Throughout the war, we endured multiple displacements and faced the constant threat of death amidst bombings in Rafah. We have been struggling with fear, skyrocketing prices, and the challenge of obtaining life's essentials.
As a result, we have made the difficult decision to leave Gaza in order to protect my family and continue my studies, with the hope of one day achieving my dream.
My family and I humbly ask for your assistance in leaving Gaza to escape this nightmare. We need $5,000 per person to cross the Egypt border.
Your donation, no matter how small, will provide us with the opportunity to find safety and a semblance of peace amid the chaos.
Your support is invaluable in evacuating my family from Gaza.”
Thank you in advance.
Note from Jason: Lara's brother in law, Ramez Almughanni, is my friend. He requested I make a campaign for her after complications with the previous one. The funds would go to getting Lara's family on the travel list to Egypt.
- $20,000 is necessary for a total of 4 family members.
- $5,000 is to provide them food, medical support, shelter, and any other aid necessary in the meantime and after evacuation.
- GoFundMe has transaction fees, so I will share the exact amount taken out when funds are ready to be transferred.
