Please friends, I need your help!

A couple of days ago, on an average day of work, my dear friend Jackie was busy working on her computer for her business. She was feeling stressed after having been required to install a new operating system for her industry and learning how to use it. We all know how time consuming, confusing and frustrating changing a system that you have used for 20+ years can be. In the course of this fateful day, she was alerted by Microsoft that she had been infected by a malware attack. Tragically, in a sophisticated, coordinated series of steps, CRIMINALS led her down a path to a most horrible and devastating outcome. She was scammed out of her ENTIRE life savings….

Due to the ‘creativity” of the scammers, there is no way to track the crime by either the police or the bank. Sadly, she reached out to both, to no avail…At 61 years old, this will not be an easy thing for Jackie to financially recover from.

I understand. We can all be a little judgemental about how this could possibly happen to someone. In reality, the humiliation one feels for falling for a scam like this, is just as traumatic as the financial hit. You open your eyes and your reality has imploded. You are CONSUMED in SHAME. And the indignity of asking for help, compounds this overwhelming sense of worthlessness….

This is why I am reaching out for help from you, for a dear friend who is paralyzed with overwhelm in this terrible moment. She will not be able to pay her rent, her health insurance, her utilities, her car payment and so much more, without our financial assistance. With only two weeks until her next rent payment is due, this is urgent. I am hoping we can help keep a roof over her head in the immediate future, that she can survive until she feels on solid ground and can get back on her feet.

I hope we can all empathize with how close all of us are to being victims of a scam and financial ruin from malicious, deceitful, immoral criminals. It breaks my heart that there could be a coordinated conspiracy to do this to another human being…. May they rot in hell.
