We are asking for support for my sister, Da’Onna, and her children, Leah Chanel and Chadlynn Dior Thomas, after the sudden and heartbreaking loss of their father, Chaddrick Thomas.

For six years, they built a life together—raising their children, creating a home, and supporting one another through everything. He was not only a father, but a steady and loving presence in their everyday lives. His loss has left an unimaginable void for his children.

As everything has unfolded so quickly, Da’Onna is now navigating deep grief while doing her best to stay strong for her kids. With funeral arrangements already set in stone, it is with urgency that they are trying to secure last-minute travel to Birmingham, Alabama, to be there and lay their father to rest.

In the midst of this, we want to make sure his children are able to be present, supported, and surrounded with love as they say their goodbyes.

We are raising funds to help with:

• Travel and arrangements so they can be there to honor their father

• Immediate support for the children during this transition

• Creating stability as they begin to adjust to life after this loss

With multiple children involved and the urgency of last-minute travel, these expenses add up quickly, and we want to ensure they are supported every step of the way.

More than anything, this is about showing up for his children—making sure they are supported, uplifted, and cared for during one of the most difficult moments of their lives.
