Hello my name is Clayton Zaragoza.
Our story all began on Dec 11th of 2023 that was the day we had found out that our son Zachary Zane Zaragoza had started to lose fluid an would most likely be born a premie.

On February my wife had started to bleed heavy and we had feared the worse as he may not make to his due date which was July 2nd. My wife was admitted to the hospital in cabel huntington and on March 15th she was rushed into emergency c section. Our son was born that day at 600 grams.

He has been through alot since he was born he had a surgery to fix a small hole in his intestine that had happened. We had made a call for what would be best for him which was to have him transfered to a bigger hospital that could help him better. He was born with a cleft lip and palate so it was best we had him sent to morgantown children's hospital.
Everything had been going good until May 1st which is when my wife's mother she was not doing so well the day we visited her for a day then we ended up staying longer to take care of her. We had finally talked her into going to see her doctor about 2 weeks later. That had to admit her to the hospital after we had expect her cancer maybe back. She was admitted into summersville hospital then sent to uhc in Bridgeport where they found her cancer has came back and it was not the same cancer she previously had it was way worse. She has high grade neuroendocrine carcinoma which is spreading very quickly.

While she was admitted we stayed in Morgantown and seen our son everyday, and went back and forth to Bridgeport to see my wife's mother, she was in the hospital almost a month and then she was transferred to a swing bed skilled nursing unit in Fairmont so we were going back and forth to see her and our son.

Then from there we had another issue come up with our vehicle, our Awd temp high stop vehicle light started coming on. We didn't really have any money to get it looked at due to the fact of everything that was going on with our son and my wife's mother. My wife's mother was then being discharged home so that forced us to have to come home and take care of her due to her being bedridden and unable to care for herself. We ended up having to take my wifes mother to her cancer appointment last month on the 23rd of August which was in morgantown we live 3 hours from there. While on our way there the vehicle started to make a weird sound and started to get progressively worse. So I ended up taking the vehicle to a local mechanic once we had got back. The guy i trust to work on our vehicles had told me that it's the transfer case that is slowly going bad.

My wife's mother was discharged back home on the 27th August she had to be sent home by Ambulance due to the fact we could not risk our car on another trip to Morgantown and she would not be able to ride in a car.
We have been hoping to come up with the money to get the car fixed, before our son gets discharged from Childerns in Morgantown but that may not be possible without help.
On Sept 17 our family has lost a loving, caring mother, amazing grandmother, a wonderful aunt, and a fantastic sister.
She was always a jokester, full of life, and loved to poke around and have fun.

Linda Kay Deboard passed away at 1:10 am. She will be missed and remembered always.
She has been fighting cancer for the last 6 months after she beat it once already in 2021. She put up a good fight to try and stay longer to see her grandson come home from the NICU and spend more time with her granddaughter. But we are glad she did get to hold him once while she was in the hospital and had gotten extra time with Lydia and Zachary.

The expected price for a transfer case is around 1000 to 2000 that does not include labor cost we are needing help badly to get this fixed. So we can have away to take him back an forth to his appointments.
We would be very grateful for any and all support if possible so our little boy can have everything he needs to get to his appointments.

Update - Oct, 20th.
Our car has offically broken down and no longer will get from point A to B. Zachary has been able to get to his appointments thanks to afew friends that helped us get him there he is doing good and is not 10.35 lbs and doing great, He is still on montier and O2 at 1/4 liter.
Funds will be used to get our car fixed and help pay for my wifes mothers services, our son and daughter will have away to get to there appointments and anything else they may need in the coming times.
