Hi, my name is Jennifer, and I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support for my father, Walter Mordes. Life has thrown an unimaginable series of challenges his way recently, and as his primary caregiver, I'm doing everything I can, but we desperately need help to get him back on his feet.

My father recently lost his home because he simply couldn't keep up with the finances. This devastating loss was compounded by severe medical issues that landed him in the hospital for over a month or more. He's now been discharged, but with no home to return to, he's temporarily staying on my couch while I care for him.

Just yesterday, on 7/25 another blow struck: his car unexpectedly caught on fire and blew up while he was on his way to a doctor's appointment. He was so lucky to survive this, but tragically, much of his vital medication was inside, along with many of his remaining belongings and essential medical equipment. This stuff was inside because he is trying to transition to find a place to go, and he no longer has homeowner insurance to cover the contents because he no longer has a house to maintain. He also lost a laptop and an iPad that were in the car.

Our family isn't in a position to sustain him through all of these unexpected and overwhelming expenses. My father just needs a chance to rebuild. Your support would go directly towards helping him find a safe place to live, purchasing a reliable new vehicle, and replacing his crucial medical supplies and personal items.
