Hello, I hate to make posts like these as I struggle to ask for help but my beloved senior cat had to go to the emergency vet on 01/20/26 after not being able to eat accompanied by vomiting and other unpleasant symptoms. The vet ran blood work and did an ultrasound and determined Vixen likely has Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) or possible Lymphoma. The emergency vet visit cost over 500 dollars, and might rise depending on the care she might need. I've set my goal to 4000 to cover previous expenses, medication cost and future x-ray, or potential surgery costs that may arise. Please help me save my beloved friend

Update* Vixen seems to be doing better. during her emergency visit they gave her meds and they seemed to help her. At her follow up appointment today they did notice a heart murmur, and IBD or cancer have yet to be ruled out. I'd like to get her tested to confirm if she might have heart issues but it' looking like the test is going to cost 1
