Hello Everyone,

I have started a campaign on behalf of my sister, Veronica Sweeney.  She has a loving spouse (Ambreena) and an adorable fur-baby (Fievel)! We are asking for donations towards her life saving liver surgery in Florida which is needed in the next 2-3 weeks. She has been suffering immensely with an extremely large neoplasm liver tumor, that doctors in Ontario, Canada have been unable to cure for the past two years. She has spent her life dedicated to helping others as a 911 Call Taker, Video Forensics Analyst and then as a Crime Analyst with the police for the last decade. Veronica is a caring, generous, passionate and loyal friend.  She has a quirky, fun-loving sense of humour and wonderment that makes you just want to be around her.  The loves of her life, Ambreena, her dog Fievel and her family and friends are her entire world.  She spoils us all immensely.  Veronica is a beloved wife, daughter, sister, auntie, niece, cousin and friend.  Family and friends mean everything to her and this time she wants nothing more than to be able to go back to spending quality time with them which has been on hold (along with her life) this past 2 years.

This journey started two years ago when she was shockingly diagnosed at 37 years of age. She has endured numerous painful surgeries/procedures that nearly cost her, her life in January 2020. She has been recovering as best as she can and has been researching to find help since then.  She has finally found a liver surgeon, who is a pioneer in his field, in Florida, who can help and has cured numerous patients with her issue. The cost is enormous and they need help. 

She requires immediate surgery as the tumor is now impacting her other organs (kidneys, spleen and her right lung is nearly deflated). She is running out of time and desperately needs your help. I understand 2020 has been a horrific year for many but every dollar donated is worth the world to her!  She has a loving family that she does not want to leave behind. She has found her forever person and won't go down without a fight.

If you are a complete stranger and have stumbled onto my campaign page, maybe you have some things in common with my sister- She is a life long Toronto Maple Leafs and Raptors fan, she plays guitar and drums, she has a 3 year old Goldendoodle named Fievel (after the kids film "An American Tail"), her favourite band is Foo Fighters and she has seen them in concert 7 times! She thinks Tom Hanks is the greatest actor of all time and ice cream turns any bad day around.
