Urgent Help for Troy's Medical and Living Expenses

My name is Joanne and I created this campaign in support of my nephew who is facing some tough times after suffering from a traumatic accident. His injuries have put him out of work for an extended period of time.

My nephew's name is Troy. This is going to create an overwhelming financial burden as medical costs and life expenses pile up. Please help Troy fix his broken wrist. Troy suffered an unfortunate scooter accident on his way home from work. The scooter's handlebar broke off the scooter,

while he was going 26 mph and he took a pretty bad fall. Troy got beat up and scraped up, but the worst part is Troy's wrist is broken, not only is it broken, it is out of place (really not good). The ER doctors did the best they could to try to make it stable, but there wasn't much they could do. Thank you to the kind, hard-working ER docs! Troy needs surgery in order to fix the break. He needs an orthopedic surgeon and fast.

This is devastating to Troy in so many ways. From the possibility of not being able to get the medical attention he needs, to facing physical challenges to possible homelessness if unable to pay his rent.

Troy has had loss in life and faced challenges and he still gets up every day and starts the day with.. today is going to be a good day. Troy can't go back to work without his arm getting fixed. Troy needs help. When Troy is able to go back to work, he will have to walk almost 3 miles to work because the scooter was his transportation to work. Troy walked it for a couple years before he saved up to buy a scooter. His scooter broke a couple months ago and this scooter was loaned to him by his cousin.

The money will be used for medical and living expenses while off work. I hope that reaching out to the greater community will provide Troy with the help he needs, as well as a sense of encouragement he needs to keep moving forward and have faith things are going to get better.
