Hi, my name is Travis, and I never thought I’d be in a position where I needed to do this again, but I’m currently facing one of the hardest moments of my life.
Over the past few months, everything has kind of unraveled at once. I went through a mental health crisis in December that led to hospitalization, and shortly after, I lost my job. I spent two months applying to over 100 places before finally finding part-time work, and I’ve been trying to rebuild since then.
This past week, things hit a breaking point. I fell behind on rent and bills, my car was repossessed, my phone has been shut off, and I currently have no food. Without my car, I can’t get to my job or complete the photoshoots I have scheduled—work that I was relying on to get back on my feet.
I want to be honest: I’ve been doing everything I can to stay afloat. I’ve been selling my clothes and personal belongings just to cover basic expenses, and I’m still coming up short.
The hardest part is that I am trying. I have work lined up, I have a job, and I’m actively pushing forward, but right now I’m stuck in a place where I can’t access the things I need to actually move forward.
I’m asking for help to cover basic, immediate needs:
• Rent to avoid eviction
• Food and essentials
• Restoring my phone so I can communicate and work
• Transportation so I can get to my job and complete booked shoots
Anything truly helps more than I can explain. Even sharing this means a lot.
If you’ve read this far, thank you for taking the time. I’m doing everything I can to get back on my feet, I just need a little help getting through this moment.
