Hello my name is Connie Guess I'm the YaYa of Leah Fay Nichols whom is a 2 year old little girl. On Sunday June 22 was taken to TMH urgent care where we were told she had a cold and was given cough meds. Tuesday June 24th Leah was taken to TMH Wakulla where the doctor told us she needed to be taken to the Emergency room. At the Emergency room Leah had a fever of 104.0. Leah was admitted into the hospital where we thought she was getting better but she wasn't fevers wouldn't go down today doctor done an ultrasound of Leah's lungs only to find fluid and bacteria in her lungs. Leah's lungs need to be drained and doctors in Tallahassee won't do it so we are being transported to Gainesville so she can have the procedure done not knowing how long she will be in Gainesville. Myself being her grandmother I have been out of work since April with a neck injury and awaiting my own surgery. We will need help with Food and lodging while being with Leah. Never had I ever thought I would have to ask for help
