Urgent Help for the Wiltse Family's Needs

I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my amazing friend and co-worker and her family. Dena Metzger, her husband Ken Wiltse, along with their daughters Breanna and Kendall. They have called Orchard Park home for the last 8 years. In the early hours of the morning, around 3 a.m., they were woken up by their neighbors with terrifying news—our home was on fire.

They live in a duplex, and the fire started after a candle was accidentally left burning in the neighboring unit. In moments, everything changed.

We are so grateful that everyone was able to get out safely and rescue their three dogs—but sadly, they have lost everything else. Clothes, furniture, keepsakes, and all of their everyday necessities are gone.

Right now, we are in urgent need of help. We’re looking to raise funds to cover:

• Temporary housing

• Clothing and shoes

• Food and groceries

• Toiletries and hygiene products (shampoo, deodorant, soap, laundry detergent)

• Other basic household items

The family has said the following:
