Urgent Help for the Leathers Family

My name is Christy Gloyd and I'm working to raise funds for my friends, Justin and Sara Leathers and their 4 kiddos.

Since Christmas, she has had her kids at the doctor’s office 9 times for respiratory illnesses and the flu. In addition to that, she’s had Justin in and out of the hospital due to an undiagnosed condition where he can’t walk standing up straight and his whole body hurts badly. Steroids helped for a moment, but they still haven't found any answers.

Sara has been in and out of sickness this whole time as well. She's got searing pain radiating from her jaw to ears to her head, bringing on headaches she’s never felt before, and it goes down the back of her neck.

With everything going on, Sara has lost her cleaning job at the church and hasn’t been able to find more work. She also lost a whole litter of puppies while at the hospital that she was counting on for income.

The problems outside of health are also adding up quickly: car problems, sewage system is backed up, washer not working correctly, AC unit needing to be replaced before summer… and more…

They are trying to get Justin back on his feet so he can get back to a normal life. The specialist is taking too long and he has pain even working. His fingers are cold and turning purple to black (no circulation?). He can't walk without pain. He has trouble doing simple things like dressing himself. The meds give some relief but he is still in a lot of pain. He can work a little through this process but Sara isn't work at all so she can be by his side through this. They are going to head out of town to an ER that maybe can get him help sooner than later. He can't work and she needs to be with him to help get things figured out.

Sara and Justin have served the Hawley community for years, volunteering with youth football and cheer among other things. They need our help now! Can you please consider them in your prayers and help them with their bills that are piling up fast?
