Urgent Help for Teen Immigrant in Crisis

Hi everyone, Rita just turned 18 and is an immigrant from China who lost her father this year, which was her only family here. She’s now alone, working minimum wage, and struggling to survive.

Her legal status is unstable, and she’s trying to get help but can’t afford proper legal support. The situation back in China for her would be much worse than it currently is here. To make things worse, her father’s boss stole her phone and withheld money her father was owed. She can’t access her dad’s bank account, and every option feels like a dead end.

She needs way more support just to stay afloat. Anything donated will help cover:

Food and essentials

• Legal aid to help her stay in the U.S.

• Furthering her education

• Emergency housing and basic supplies (a phone, groceries, etc)
