Hi my name is Sylvia, I'm a single mother experiencing a very very difficult time. I am starting this gofund me in hopes of receiving help to relieve some stress. I lost my job, but in the beginning of November I did get hired at a new place which they had to move on with someone else because of my health. I experienced some extremely serious health issues, and was hospitalized at St Vincent's for a week, then transferred to Froedtert to have a high risk surgery on Thanksgiving. I was at Froedtert for almost a week, and discharged last Tuesday to recover at home. Monday I seen my PCP for a follow up and lab work. She called me later that evening and said I immediately had to go to the ER I was on the verge (if not) septic my white blood cell count was in the 50,000s. I went to the hospital and was transferred out the next day back to Froedtert, and have been here since. They are trying to figure out exactly where the fluid and infection are coming from with little to no luck just yet. My concern is when I am discharged I will be going home to no home. Due to losing my job, and now these health issues that have had me in the hospital for this long, my bills have fell behind, I don't have rent for this month, or the next couple months (I have no for sure discharge date). Yes I have contacted all the agencies referred to me for any assistance and received no help. I am pleading please help anyway you can my daughter and I can't afford to lose our home and everything I worked so hard for us to achieve.
