Urgent help needed during a rough time ♥️

Hello all, my name is Sophia Stribling and I am making this gofundme out of dire circumstances. I recently got pneumonia and lost my job due to too much sick time, despite the doctor’s notes. Anyone who knows me knows that I have been through a lot. The only family I have left alive is my sister who is back home in California, an uncle in Australia, and my cousins in Las Vegas. I lost my dad when I was 15 to cancer even though he left when I was young, and my mother (who was my best friend) to suicide when I was 24. I battled with a heroin addiction from the ages of 16 to 25 (among other issues) until I moved to Portland and got clean 6 years ago. I have worked really hard but have had health issues impair my ability to work sometimes and unfortunately, this last health issue lost me my job.

I am currently in a vet assistant college and about to start work in a vet hospital as a nurses aid. Sadly, my boyfriend who I live with recently lost his chef job at a hotel and we have received an eviction notice. I also had my car stolen because that’s Portland for you… but I am desperately in need of some help to cover rent and a small payment for a car just to get to and from class and work. I hate having to make one of these but times are so tough that I see no other option as we are on a timeline. I am on my way to having a stable income with the pet hospital but student loans are a lot, getting a car is hard, and being in fear of an eviction while I am trying so hard to better my life leaves me with this as a literal cry for help.

I would greatly appreciate any sort of help you could give me while I navigate this difficult time. I am available to give any more insight if anyone needs it for the reason they would donate. I’ve been homeless before and worked to never be in that position again, but sometimes life has other plans and we need outside help. Thank you for letting me share my story.
