Hey everyone. I'm deeply distraught that my baby snowball is currently having a medical emergency. Snowball has been throwing up for 3-4 days now & refuses to eat. Snowball is extremely weak, lethargic, and meowing in pain. I took her to the vet & told it would be 10K for an exploration surgery to "check" if something is stuck in the intestines. I already spent 1K & they didn't even administer fluids and the cat is severely dehydrated from vomiting. I feel helpless. They made me sign a form saying i'm responsible if I take snowball home & she passes away. I can't eat or sleep because i'm so distressed watching her. She's my emotional support animal & such a kind pet who helps me with my panic attacks. I'm going to seek a second opinion & call ASPCA first thing monday morning although it's extremely difficult to get an appointment. I thank everyone who has been supporting me & will be calling with me Monday morning. I just hope she can make it to Monday but in case snowball doesn't improve I need to be prepared to rush to an emergency room. I know the economy is very difficult but any donation helps & is greatly appreciated. If I am able to get snowball back to health at no or little cost I WILL be reimbursing everyone. I just ask for help and need a plan B in case I'm not able to get her an appointment or symptoms worsen. I don't have a large social media presence so even sharing this will be greatly appreciated. UPDATE 10/20: We were thankfully able to get snowball into ASPCA this morning She was treated with great care & is currently undergoing surgery. I have lowered the overall goal for this donation. I thank everyone who donated, shared the link, & followed up to check in on us. The donations will be used towards snowballs medication & recovery supply fees after surgery. Thank you all ❤️
