At just 41 years old, my daughter Ryanne’s life changed in an instant. She was hospitalized with a severe infection when the unthinkable happened — a blood clot broke free and caused her to suffer a stroke. As if that weren’t enough, she has now also undergone heart surgery this week. In a matter of days, Ryanne went from being an active, loving mom of three to fighting for her health and facing a long and uncertain recovery. She is currently unable to work and will need ongoing care and assistance at home. Her recovery will not be quick, and the medical, emotional, and financial weight of all of this is overwhelming. I have stepped in to care for her full-time, which means I’ve had to stop working as well. With Ryanne unable to provide income and me sacrificing mine to be by her side, our household is now facing mounting bills and financial strain. We are raising funds to help cover monthly household expenses, prevent us from falling behind on essential bills, support Ryanne’s continued recovery and care at home, and provide stability for her three children during this incredibly difficult time.
