Urgent Help for Robin and Amari's Stability

For those of you closer to me than others, you already know it's been a rough time for my granddaughter and me of late. I tend to keep a close group of strong women and a few male friends in the know. My granddaughter and I lost our home, cars, pets, etc and many close friends the past few years, and due to a situation that my old landlord said her daughter needed my apartment ( she never moved in and they sold the property). That sudden loss after 8 yrs being there, caused us to move into a motel. I had no idea at that time what the homelessness situation was, thought we'd be 2-3 months, not 2 yrs trying to find an affordable apartment. My granddaughter suffered 2 very traumatic events this past year, we recently ( the 8th) had to surrender our beloved cat for euthanasia, as he has something wrong that causes him to violently attack me without warning. So, he's unadoptable. The person I aide in taking care of has helped with rent as I'm on disability and it barely covers 2 weeks here. ( a very inexpensive motel for ct, $2200 a month). He suffered a 2nd heart stoppage and breathing last weekend and is in ICU. Apparently whoever cut his pants off, also found the money he'd taken out of the bank in cash in his pockets and it has disappeared. We are now stuck. I do not have the next 3 weeks rent, school clothes for her as she starts a new school ( 10th grade) and she suffered a breakdown from the traumatic events she experienced and yes she's getting the best care.

I'm not the type of person to put my personal business out there on fb, nor do I like having to ask for any help, not a ride to the pharmacy for her, not a trip to the drs for me as I've been quite sick recently with a severely contagious condition but also a dangerous one. But, here I am, asking for ANY help, so we don't end up out on the streets, in a tent in the woods where she can't shower, eat, set an alarm for school, or have any kind of address. I've literally called every social service agency and none can offer help with motel fees, a uhaul if we do have to leave ( I don't drive, right now), gas to put in the uhaul, and $300 a month for storage so when we find an apartment that will accept us on disability, we can move our things in, what's left anyway. It's very hard, embarrassing, humiliating, and just breaks my spirit to have to post this request for help, and trust me every $5, 10, or 20, etc will help. I'm just left with absolutely no choice. So, if I ever helped you, did anything for you, or if you just love us enough to not want to see us on the street, I'm asking for your help, now. Also, for anyone who does reach out and help, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Things will turn around, I believe that. Just sometimes you need a little leg up to get it started...and that leg, would be you. So thank you. I love you all dearly, and I'm still here, as always, if you ever just need a friend.
