Urgent Help for Rick Goodman After Bangkok Earthquake
Donation protected
My brother, Rick Goodman, currently resides and was in Bangkok during the earthquake on Friday, March 28. He was not injured, but he lost everything except the clothes on his back and a few things he grabbed in the aftermath. Currently, he is safe and staying in a hotel, but the prices are skyrocketing. He will run out of money if the current situation does not change. For some reason, the part of Bangkok he lives in was hit hardest. The building that collapsed was just a ten-minute walk away. His building did not collapse, but the damage is so severe that it's currently considered unsafe and uninhabitable (see attached photo of column busting during earthquake). Water pipes burst, ruining everything. There is so much chaos and confusion locally that no help is on offer.
Rick has been living overseas for 20 years. Many disasters have happened near him, and people always ask me about him after they see the news. He's always avoided being impacted, but this time he needs help. The most urgent needs are to get him through the first 30 days, making sure he has a place to live and clothing. He will eventually need to replace everything he owned, but right now he needs help with the essentials. Please give what you can so we can help him stay sheltered, clothed, and safe.
