Urgent Help for Rey's Vet Bills and Recovery

Hi everyone, I’m Josie, and this sweet kitty is Rey. She is 9 and our everything. Yesterday, she suddenly lost use of her back legs and we had to rush her to the emergency vet. The trip with all the imaging, bloodwork, and medication was $950, and she was a follow up appointment with her usual vet next week.

Due to federal funding cuts, I am being laid off from my current job, and am still job hunting. Getting hit with a bill of this size—with more certainly to come as we navigate more appointments and Rey’s recovery—while on the edge of unemployment is frightening.
