Urgent Help for Raz's Visa Renewal
Donation protected
Hey all. I’m completely fucked by the US immigration regarding my work visa situation. Yesterday my lawyer informed me that the O-1 (creative artist) visa that I have had approved for the past 11 years is being wrongfully denied recently and I have to re-apply a whole new visa which means I have to also leave the country for a couple months to not overstay my grace period (or I will be deported) and come back to LA once the new visa is approved fast with an expedite process option hopefully within 2 or 3 months.
I wasn’t prepared for this emergency and in a week or so I need about $13k for a
1. new visa renewal fees + expediting fees
2. lawyer fees
3. flight ticket to a different country,
4. survival money in a different country while I find photography clients while I wait for my new expedited visa to be approved.
5. accommodation in different country
6. embassy visa stamping cost
7. flight back to U.S
8. storage for all my stuff while I’m away.

A fulltime artist like me don’t really have much. I only have some tools I use to make my art, I have my heart and some money to survive to keep making art. I don’t have $13k laying around. I’ve been in the U.S for 12 years and this is my home. My career and my art is growing well each year and I have been living as a fulltime artist (photographer + touring musician) past 4 years however I do not have $13k. My focus & love towards my career is absolutely bulletproof and I love my life.
I am tired and feeling destroyed currently but I am trying my very best to stay positive despite this insanely challenging situation. Thank you for the help & love. -Raz
