My name is Rachel Florentino. I have been experiencing mental health struggles and my financial well-being. It all started when my Medicaid health insurance was canceled on 12/31/25 due to ACA health benefits that were cut by our current administration.

I have had a life time disability due to being the survivor of child sexual assault. I require intensive therapy and medications to keep my disability from effecting my health. I've had to cut my hours at my job to 3 days a week in order to qualify for Medicare’s new qualifications.

Due to losing 15 hours of paid work time, I'm really struggling right now to make ends meet. I've never been one to ask for help, but it's really needed right now. I've worked really hard to stay stable mentally, and it's taking its toll on my mental health right now, because I am so stressed about bills and not having health insurance. I cannot go into further debt. Credit cards are not an option for me at this point.

I'm working hard to reapply for Medicaid, and I absolutely hate asking for help with bills and stuff, but it's come to the point where I need the help. I would literally help anyone in my life; I'd give the shirt off my back for anyone in need.
