Help Us Save a Puppy Brutally Attacked and Left for Dead

On a quiet beach in Saint Lucia, we found something that shattered us.

A tiny puppy, no more than a few months old, left to die after someone deliberately slashed open his face—likely with a machete—and dumped him like garbage.

Half of his lower jaw is gone. His mouth was filled with sand and maggots.

He was shaking and thank god still breathing.

Still fighting to live.

There are no emergency care vets on the island and the best one we brought him to confirmed that we would not be able to do anything for him in Saint Lucia. The only hope for saving his life is to get him to a specialist in Canada or the U.S. urgently—but the costs will be enormous.

We’re talking flights, ICU-level care, advanced surgeries, and a long road of rehabilitation—with no guarantee of success.

The reality is heartbreaking:

He may never eat normally again.

He may always need special care.

He may not survive the trip.

And even with all that, we may still have to make the impossible decision to let him go.

But he wants to live. You can see it in his eyes. And we believe that if there’s even a sliver of hope, he deserves a chance.
