UPDATE

Poppy’s surgery went well, she doesn’t have feeling back in her legs yet and has gone off her food. Mandy and Emily have been up to see her today and she has started eating some chicken. Things are looking up but she still requires extra nights in hospital to monitor her ❤️‍

"Help Save Poppy – Mandy’s Beloved Dachshund Needs Urgent Surgery"

This is Poppy, (not the best picture as i never take many) our familys sweet little dachshund who means everything to us and my mother-in-law Mandy.

Today, Poppy has developed a serious spinal problem that’s starting to paralyse her a d has been rushed to emergency vets in chester.

The vets say she needs urgent surgery costing £7,200 to save her. My mother in law came home to Poppy in a frightening panic with pools of sick in poo all over the house .

Mandy can’t afford this on her own, and the thought of losing Poppy is heartbreaking.

As some of you may know myself and Emily have recently gotten married so we are really feeling the pinch financially and see this as our last resort after scraping everything we can today and going through every penny of finances.

Poppy has been by Mandy’s side through so much, and now she needs us. If any of you know Mandy, she'd literally do anything for anyone and I believe they both really deserves the help.

Anything you can give, even just a little, will help Poppy get the treatment she desperately needs. Please help us give her a chance to walk, play, and stay with Mandy for many longer!
