I’ve created this GoFund Me to formally request donations following the catastrophic impact of Hurricane Melissa on my home. My property located in St. Elizabeth sustained significant damage from the hurricane's high winds, and subsequent flooding on October 29, 2025. Due to the hurricane impact, the damage has left my elderly father(Derrick) and I in a vulnerable situation. We need immediate help for recovery. The hurricane caused severe roof damage, extensive flooding, destruction of major appliances and furniture. I’m my elderly blind father’s caregiver. We are currently staying at a local relative's house. As our home is currently uninhabitable due to severe roof damage, lack of safe drinking water, no electricity.

I have no property insurance provider, and will have to pay out-of-pocket for the repair expenses. The financial impact, including a temporary loss of income, has made it challenging to meet our immediate needs. I look forward to receiving any support for essential repairs and living costs.
