Hello - my name is Patrick Allen and I am trying to raise funds to help with back rent and securing a place to live - facing eviction.

My wife Jessie lost her job in May of 2024. We were able to make it for a while, largely on my income until there was a insurance "glitch" which resulted in not covering any of her many meds. So we had to pay out of pocket and we will not get reimbursed.

For several years Jessie has had, and not limited to: Lupus, COPD, Stage 3b Kidney Failure, Neuropathy as well as back issues that now require surgery. In the last few months, Jessie has been diagnosed with, and not limited to: Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, Needs Oxygen 70%, and most recently she is in early stages of Dementia. Because, why not at this point, right?

Well back into last year, Jessie applied for disability. She solicited an attorney to help speed up the brutally long process. She seems to be a lock to get it, and she has been playing the waiting game for several months since she completed the process.

Fast forward to current, we have been served an eviction notice and have a hearing tomorrow. We need to find a new place to live and very fast! Her health is so bad she will not be much help in the moving process and thus we need to come up with money to pay to help us move and secure a place. I have been scared that I am going to lose her sooner rather than later. And now I am scared that soon she may not remember me… I have never been so terrified in my life and I need to exhaust my resources to continue to support my family.
