Emergency Help Needed!!!

Dear friends, family, and church community,

I never thought I would have to write something like this, but our family is truly in crisis and we urgently need help.

Over the past few months, our home was discovered to have black mold, sewage leaks, and hidden water damage throughout the walls and under the structure. We had no choice but to leave immediately. We spent 37 nights in a hotel, paying out-of-pocket for everything, and we’re now carrying nearly $10,000 in unexpected debt.

During this time, I was also sick for almost three months, in the Hospital multiple times, unable to minister, and we had to use our entire emergency fund just to get by.

We finally returned home this past Friday, hoping everything was resolved — but within hours, our symptoms returned:

• I developed shortness of breath, chest pains, headaches, burning eyes, and a sore throat.

• Susanna has been coughing nonstop, shortness of breath, wheezing, and constant phlegm.

• Our three daughters have been coughing and staying congested, with constant stuffiness that began immediately after we moved back in.

It is clear the home is still unsafe, and remaining here is affecting all of us. We now have to move immediately, but we have no savings left — no margin, and no way to cover moving costs, deposits, or medical care.

We are exhausted and doing everything we can to protect our family’s health and find a safe place to live.

What we urgently need help with:

• Emergency relocation & first month’s rent

• Moving costs

• Medical expenses

• Remaining hotel debt (about $10,000)

• Basic living costs while I’m unable to minister

Any amount — truly any — would help us move into a safe environment where we can breathe, heal, and begin rebuilding our lives.
