Hello! My baby boy, Pancake, is 2 years old and has been prone to UTIs. I rushed him to the vet the day after Christmas (12/26) after some concerning symptoms, including blood in his urine. Given his history with UTIs and the blood, the vet highly recommended an x-ray and confirmed that Pancake had bladder stones. We attempted dissolving them with a course of antibiotics and a specialized diet, but they have not, and he is going to have to have them surgically extracted since he's in pain and at risk of a deadly blockage if his body attempts to pass one.

2024 was not kind to me and money is tight, but this cat owns my entire heart and soul, and I will do whatever I can to make sure he stays happy and healthy.

As such, I am raising money to go towards his cystotomy and follow-up care.
The estimate for his surgery and to have the stones tested is $2700, anything raised over that amount will go to his continued care (follow up appointments, additional medication, specialized diet).
UPDATE (2/24) Pancake is scheduled for surgery this Thursday, 2/27.
