I've had my sweet angel Othello since he was 10 weeks old. A Covid puppy, he came home with me as the most perfect boy. He learned all his tricks with ease and was always happy to please. Gentle as ever when taking his treats, he's just the happiest, go-lucky dog you will ever meet. A friend to humans, dogs, cats, and other critters, he could never hurt a fly. So why my poor boy is so critically ill now, I still cannot believe.

Overnight, he's gone from my happy, healthy boy to a happy but, critically ill dog, direly needing veterinary care, literally overnight. I had hoped I would never be faced with the problem I have now. My poor sweet Othello is currently inpatient at the MSPCA with a complete urinary blockage and is wall to wall full of bladder stones. To clear the blockage, drain his bladder, receive overnight care for several days, and have surgery to remove the stones, his vet bill is looking close to $12,000.

I unexpectedly lost my job last month and I'm only working part-time currently. Unprepared for something of this magnitude and due to the last few weeks of uncertainty, I've used up any savings I had and I'm still behind on everything else.

I hate asking for help and I wouldn't normally, but Othello is the greatest dog and he's my best friend, and I have to do everything I can to help him. He is my true ESA, not like these fake ones everyone tries to pass off. There are nights I wouldn't have made it through without him. He's truly been a saving grace and the most amazing boy. The truth is with out your help I would have to surrender and lose Othello to save his life. I really don’t want to lose him. I beg you for anything you can spare, his situation is critical and he needs help ASAP!!
