If the LA fires hadn't brought enough heartbreak, one of my lifelong best friends now lost his home in Wisconsin.

While out of town to visit family, Nic was notified that his house had caught fire. While insurance will cover the cost of rebuilding, it does not cover any of his personal belongings. In addition to replacing everything he lost, he still has to pay his mortgage while also covering temporary housing costs until the rebuild is complete.
