My name is Hala Almadhoun, and I am raising funds for my aunt, Nasra Almadhoun, her husband Bassem, and their children and grandchildren who have lost everything in Gaza.
Their home was bombed and completely demolished. They were forced to flee from Gaza City to Khan Yunis, where they now live in a tent with no food, clean water, or security. They are displaced, exhausted, and struggling every day just to survive.
Nasra’s family includes:
- Her husband: Bassem
- Her sons: Ahmed and Sami, and their wives
- Her daughter: Nawal
- Ahmed’s 3 children: Basem (17), Mohamed (14), and Abod (11, living with Hunter Syndrome, a rare genetic disease)
- Sami’s 3 children: Kareem (8), Lara (7), and Jad (5)
This is a family of 12 people, including six young children who have lost their home, their education, and their health. They have no income, no clean water, and have already lost so much weight from hunger.
Right now, they urgently need:
- Food and clean water to survive day to day
- Basic medical support for Abod, who suffers from Hunter Syndrome
- Safe passage to Egypt, once the border opens, to escape the war and rebuild their lives
