Thank you to everyone who has collaborated to help us pay for Myrella's care. Many of you have asked me to report Myrella's diagnosis. Today, I bring you the latest report with the diagnosis.

Diagnoses

* Mild to moderate renal failure due to pre-renal causes (severe dehydration and hydroelectrolytic imbalance).

* Neuropsychiatric disorder due to probable Hereditary Prion disease (history of first-degree relatives - mother and brother - who died due to this diagnosis).

* Seizure syndrome of unspecified etiology, probably related to vascular disease and/or encephalopathy due to Hereditary Prion disease.

* Brain stem lesion leading to locked-in syndrome, probably due to metabolic causes. The patient appears to have periods of consciousness but is unable to speak or move any limb (she has spastic quadriplegia).

* History of cerebral infarction.

* Due to all of the above, the patient is totally dependent to satisfy her basic needs for food and hygiene. As you will see, his painting is delicate.
