Hi, my name is Ashante Pierce, and I'm creating this fundraiser on behalf of my mom, Renate Williams.

On August 6th, my mother survived a brutal domestic violence attack that changed her life forever. Her ex-boyfriend assaulted her—punching her and slamming her head through the glass french doors of their bedroom—then fled the apartment, leaving her to bleed out and die. Miraculously, she survived, but the attack left her blind in her right eye and covered in deep physical and emotional scars.

Right now, Renate is unable to work due to the severity of her injuries. She also can’t drive, which has made her recovery even more difficult and isolating. She is doing her best to stay strong, but the physical, emotional, and financial toll is overwhelming.

To make things even harder, my mom has to move out of her current home by October 1st, and she needs urgent support to help her relocate and cover essential recovery costs.

We are hoping to raise between $5,000 and $8,000 to help with:

• Emergency relocation and moving expenses

• Medical treatment, follow-up care, and medications

• Transportation and accessibility support

• Basic living expenses while she heals

My mom is a fighter, but she shouldn’t have to go through this alone. If you’re able to donate—even a small amount—it would make a huge difference in her life. Every dollar brings her one step closer to safety, stability, and recovery.
