My loyal dog Slim saved me when I was at my weakest — now he needs me more than ever.

My name is Gregory, and I am reaching out for help for my beloved dog, Slim. Slim is not just a pet to me — he is family, my companion, and my emotional support through some of the hardest moments of my life.

I rescued Slim when he was only 8 months old. At the time, he struggled with severe separation anxiety, but with love, patience, and care, he grew into the sweetest, most loving dog anyone could ask for. Slim has become known and loved in my building — everyone gives him treats, and he gets along with cats and most dogs. He truly brings joy to everyone he meets.

Earlier this year, I was very ill and confined to bed for almost two months, living with a catheter. During that extremely difficult time, Slim never left my side. He comforted me, stayed close, and gave me strength when I needed it most. Now it is my turn to be there for him.

Recently, Slim was tragically attacked by two dogs. The attack left him with serious injuries that required emergency veterinary care and stitches. Watching him in pain has been heartbreaking. Slim is currently recovering, but he still needs follow-up care, medication, and careful monitoring to ensure he heals properly.

Unfortunately, the bills have already exceeded $2,300, with more expected for follow-up appointments and ongoing care. I want to give Slim the treatment and recovery he truly deserves, but I cannot do it alone right now.
