Hi, my name is Daniela, and I am a single mother raising my young child in the UK.

My child has severe post-hypoxic brain injuries, is completely non-verbal, and has global developmental delays. He suffers from hypotonia, muscle asymmetry, frequent falls, and oro-facial blockages. He is unable to chew or swallow properly and requires special feeding methods.

He also has severe hypopituitarism and depends on ongoing somatropin (growth hormone) injections. His bone density corresponds to that of a 3-year-old child, although he is 5 years old.

He urgently requires intensive one-to-one therapies, including physiotherapy, kinetotherapy, neuromotor therapy, neurorehabilitation, ABA therapy, and psycho-pedagogical support etc. Every month without proper therapy carries a real risk of regression.

These therapies are extremely costly, and as a single parent, I cannot manage these expenses alone. The funds raised through this campaign will be used strictly for my child’s medical care, therapies, and essential support related to his condition.

This campaign is about stability, continuity of care, and giving my child a real chance at development, despite the challenges he faces.
