Urgent Help for Ms. Lillie's Temporary Housing

starting this for our sweet friend Ms. Lillie.

ms Lillie is 64 years young and truly the sweetest soul that you will ever meet. Just came into remission from cancer as of April 2025!!! Would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need and right now she needs OUR HELP.

Back story— my husband {Tommy} is a life insurance salesman and met Ms Lillie about 6 months ago collecting her monthly life insurance payment. they didn’t hit it off initially {to say the least} Ms Lillie was very set in her ways with her old insurance salesman and didn’t trust a new person to take her monthly payment.

Eventually she began to trust Tommy {my husband} and they became great friends. Tommy did odd jobs to help her when she called {replacing smoke detector batteries, toilet clogs, and ac units} then we all {as a family, with my kids} going over to visit, bringing her dinners on Sunday’s., after coming to find out she hadn’t had a home cooked meal in quite some time. Shortly after— Ms Lillie’s beloved dog Wesley of 12 years, sadly passed unexpectedly of old age. My husband reached out to me to help her find a new dog to replace the missing piece of her life. We found her the PEEFECT match! Duke {a 2 year old, Jack Russel/chihuhua mix} was exactly what Ms Lillie needed! A dog who needed a home without any other dogs, and was literally Ms. Lillie in dog form! Sweet, loyal, and kind. They hit it off immediately and now 2 months later the rest is history!

Fast forward to now— Ms Lillie was on the last month of her lease, with a new home lined up. Last minute they decided to choose the other applicant. Leaving her with no place to go, with her cat and dog. AND I QUOTE— “I’ll live homeless under a bridge before I get rid of my babies!” I {we, my husband and I} are fostering her cat for a month until her new place, working on finding a foster for the month for Duke, but most importantly Ms Lillie needs your help on having a place to stay for the next month. Storage unit fee {$150} and a hotel room or renting a room from someone for the next month. She is planning on having a place 100% by August 1st.

Please yall from truly the bottom of my heart PLEASE help if you can. $1, $5, truly anything. It all adds up and Ms Lillie needs us right now!
