My dear sweet man had to go in for an emergency appointment today for swelling and pain in the upper throat. He's received antibiotics, pain meds, and fluids today, but if he doesn't eat by morning, he'll need more immediate testing and care that are beyond my means. Testing alone was quoted at $1,200.
